Millwork Estimator - PA
Our client, a multi-store lumber and building materials dealer throughout Southeastern Massachusetts is experiencing significant business demand and has asked SnapDragon Associates to assist them in their search for a Millwork Estimator. The candidate must have residential and/or commercial, architectural millwork experience to include a working knowledge of moulding, windows, stair parts, doors, trim, cabinets, millwork and more.
-Locate products fitting the customers' needs
-Perform material takeoffs and estimates from architectural drawings
-Forecast material requirements by analyzing customer needs
-Read and interpret blue prints and architectural drawings
-Price, quote and coordinate all millwork product needs with architects and general contractors
-Negotiate and provide recommendations to customers based on need
-Great verbal and written skills which are clear and accurate
Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 4 years building materials estimating experience
-Must have a firm understanding of construction
-Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment while maintaining organization and self-motivation
-Working knowledge of computer software programs including, Word, Excel, and other automated systems used by industry
-Ability to independently prioritize, execute and accomplish assigned projects in a timely manner
-High degree of organization and detailed oriented
Pay commensurate with experience in addition to an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k and more.
